Affiliate Disclosure
Current status: one program is live. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. Amazon links on this site carry our Associates tag. No other retailer program is live yet — links to Home Depot, Lowe's, Best Buy, and AJ Madison are plain, untagged searches (applications to those programs, plus parts retailers, are planned). This page will be updated as each program goes live.
Verified Appliance Data is, and is intended to remain, a free resource. To cover the cost of building and maintaining it, we plan to earn commissions from retailer affiliate programs on appliances and parts, disclosed here in compliance with FTC guidelines, once those programs are live.
What this means in practice
- Some links (currently: Amazon) earn us a commission if you buy through them, at no extra cost to you.
- Any future commercial relationship will never determine which appliance appears in the product database, how it's ranked in a "best" guide, or what specs are shown. Ranking is strictly by the stated, verifiable metric.
- No brand, retailer, or repair-parts vendor will be able to pay for a better ranking, a featured placement, or removal of unfavorable data.
- Our machine-readable endpoints (the dataset, llms.txt) carry no affiliate parameters, ever.
Where we stand today
Amazon Associates is live: Amazon buy and search links on product pages earn us a commission if you purchase through them, at no extra cost to you. Links to every other retailer are untagged searches today. As more programs go live, this page will be updated and the "last updated" date above will move.
