What I am, and what I'm not
I am not a licensed appliance repair technician or engineer, and nothing on this site substitutes for professional repair advice. I'm a data engineer. That's exactly why every page here is built so you don't have to take my word for anything:
- Efficiency and capacity specs are sourced from DOE certification (CCMS) and ENERGY STAR
- Running cost is computed with a formula shown on the methodology page — not a hidden score
- Where a registry doesn't publish a spec, the page says "not published" instead of guessing
- When I get something wrong, email me and I'll fix it
